Google and Amazon Feud Heats Up - Google Blocks Amazon Store Listings From Showing Up

Google and Amazon have been in a heated debate over allowing YouTube to play on Amazon FireSticks and other Amazon devices.

The latest preventative form of this nature comes in the form of Amazon listings going straight to non-existent pages.

For instance if I Google "Travis Scott, LA Flame Never Dies, Vintage Bleached Long Sleeve"

This is the first result that appears:

But when I click on it it takes me to a page that says "SORRY we couldn't find that page Try searching on Amazon's home page."

But if I go back to the search results in Google:

And click on the little drop down area to the right of the green text and choose to view the "Cached" version of the page. Guess where it takes me?

Yep. Straight to the proper listing on Amazon. 

So there you have it. Operation Google dominate Amazon. 

Hopefully for the sake of all that's holy, Amazon and Google will be friends again. That last thing we need are more enemies in this day and age trying to break up unions!

10. Why are you applying for financial assistance? (150 word minimum)

I am applying for financial assistance because I am having a financial hardship at this point in my life. I am helping my brother take care of his kid, while living at my parent's house with my wife. My mother is fighting cancer and my dad broke his neck two summers ago so all of our money goes to helping them out. My wife also works full time as a sales associate. I am looking for a way to get more training in a specialized area in IT. When I was attending college in San Diego I had an unfortunate disease that required me to have both of my hips totally replaced at the age of 23 so I was unable to finish the school track that I was on. I moved back home to have this surgery and then moved back to San Diego to try and finish school. I was still unable to do this due to family problems back at home so I decided to move back to Virginia and help out the family.

11. How will taking this certificate program achieve your career goals? (150 word minimum)

I am looking for a position that aligns with my interests in the IT field. I have not had the chance to receive formal training in this field. My prior job history relies heavily on IT knowledge and would complement my abilities. I have previously worked for 3 different companies that required technical skills knowledge of building websites, applications and writing code. The positions I worked in were as a Creative Marketing Manager in which I was moved to an Executive Assistant in that position. Then I was a content marketing manager for a real estate franchise in which I built over 5 different website platforms including CRM campaigns and training modules to help their company build leads and convert leads into sales. My latest job was as the Director of Marketing and Customer Service for a holding company named Asian Restaurants International Development and Management (ARIDM.COM). This was an exceptional job that required travel across the mid-Atlantic region of North America's East Coast. Unfortunately I came in one day to a letter that said they were no longer able to keep the company open due to lack of funds. This course will give me a chance to obtain real skills in a field that I am passionate about and be able to put real qualifications on my resumé . At this point I can only mention that I have worked in these fields in a position where it was not the main requirement.

How do I create a logo?

Recently just got done helping a friend that owns a catering business rehabilitate their website. We didn't do much besides add a blog and re-arrange the pages to flow more smoothly and look more professional.

The big part was that we were able to show him how his website was built. Someone had purchased, as a gift, a website package for him from GoDaddy. Now anyone that knows anything about building web content knows, GoDaddy is not the best platform to build websites with.

Not only do they limit what you are able to do and hide access to key parts of your website, but every time you try and call them, they will try and sell you something that should be included.

And more than that, their website builder is cookie cutter and not very dynamic.

Anyways, now that I'm done with my GoDaddy rant.. which I could go on and on about, let me get to how to create a most perfect logo for your business.

Like many others my friend did not know where to start when he asked me, "How do I create a logo?" It seems pretty clear cut, especially if you are reading this, since you are likely already an active Googler!

But maybe your friend or someone you know isn't and you can print this article out and hand it to them :) or e-mail it to them!

Or even better, instead of buying them a crappy GoDaddy website subscription, buy them a consultation with Jumpswell so they don't get stuck with something they don't like.

Yeah still working on it, I need to find some progressive style logos, everything i see is VERY elementary

Yeah just keep in mind simetimes a simple logo can say the most.

Ok so in a nutshell, using Google to get ideas is the best place to start. There are tons of options and customizations that can take place but just getting an idea of where to start is a lot of times the hardest part.

Your logo has to be something you are proud of. Also, it needs to be something that represents what your company stands for.

If you are a catering company that caters to high end customers, you want your logo to look professional and clean cut. If you are a caterer that caters BBQ events and parties, you want your logo to look maybe animated and loosely put together.

However you go about it, Google images, Pinterest and logo generators are going to be your best bet to put your creative foot in the dirt and start getting feel for the course.
